I was taught to
knit by my grandmother when I was 6 years old, by the time I was 13 I was hand knitting jumpers
using commercial knitting patterns. I have been hand spinning different fibres for over 20 years, and have
had numerous solo exhibitions across the South West of England. of my hand spun hand knitted garments that I design
myself.
I use eco friendly fibres such as wool, silk, alpaca, mohair, soya protein and bamboo. The natural dyes
I use are from plants that I grow in my garden or plants I get from the hedgerow when I am out for a walk.
I am a full member of the
Somerset Guild of Craftsmen
Westward Ho and Bideford
